The Mount St. Mary experience does not end at graduation. Our alumni continue to lead, serve, create, and make an impact in their professions and communities across the country. While every journey looks different, they share a foundation built at The Mount through faith, perseverance, relationships, and a commitment to something larger than themselves.

The stories below represent just a small glimpse of the many graduates who continue to carry the values of Mount St. Mary into the next chapter of their lives. We are proud to celebrate their accomplishments and the paths they continue to build.

Notable Alumni of The Mount

  • Joshua Cleary

    Joshua Cleary graduated from MSM in 2020. Cleary received his first Emmy last in July of 2025 at the Heartland Regional Emmy Awards in Oklahoma City. The award celebrated work on the two-part documentary “Barry Sanders: Out of Nowhere," produced by OSU Max, the athletic department's original-content online network. 

  • Captain Franchesca Gibson

    Captain Franchesca (Alexander) Gibson graduated from MSM in 2015. Captain Gibson was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps in 2023. After graduating the Direct Commission Course and the Judge Advocate Officer Basic Course, Franchesca received orders to Fort Liberty North Carolina where she proudly serves as an officer in the Trial Defense Service acting as a defense attorney for active duty soldiers going through the military criminal justice process with the TDS motto aptly being "defending those who defend America.”

  • Dr. Michael Saumur

    Dr. Michael Saumur graduated from MSM in 1992. He then earned his DDS in 2008 at the University of Oklahoma and later completed his Residency there in 2012. His two sons attend MSM. 

  • Father Jerome Krug

    Fr. Jerome Krug graduated from Mount St. Mary Catholic High School in 2011 and was ordained to the priesthood in 2019. During his time at MSM, friendships, daily Mass, prayer, and the strong faith community helped deepen his relationship with Jesus and encouraged him to pursue the priesthood. Today, Fr. Jerome serves as Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Norman, is the Vocations Director for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, and serves as a member of the Mount St. Mary Board of Trustees. Returning to The Mount as school chaplain from 2022-2026 was especially meaningful for Fr. Jerome, who credits the school and its community with helping strengthen the faith and prayer life that ultimately guided his vocation. His journey from Mount student to priest and now Board member is a powerful example of the lasting impact of an MSM education and the school’s mission to form students in faith, service, and leadership.

  • Amy Castro Braun

    Amy Castro Braun graduated from Mount St. Mary Catholic High School in 1998 and has dedicated her career to education and leadership. Dr. Braun currently serves as Principal of Northmoor Elementary in Moore, Oklahoma, where she is committed to helping students and educators thrive. She has also previously served as President of the Mount St. Mary Board of Trustees, continuing her commitment to the school community. Mount St. Mary holds a special place in her family, as both her mother and father are also MSM alumni, she is married to her high school sweetheart, Justin, and her two sons currently attend MSM. For Amy, Mount St. Mary represents a lasting family legacy and a community that continues to shape generations of her family.
