WELCOME TO

The Mount is a faith community serving our students and their families with mercy, compassion and an exceptional Christ-centered Catholic education.

Profile of a Mount Graduate
Compelled By Mercy
Mercy students, in the spirit of our founder Catherine McAuley, are steadfastly determined to take Mercy into an interconnected world. Our shared sense of social consciousness is fortified by universal empathy and a conviction that all are worthy of God’s mercy. This deep awareness and compassion move us to take principled action and serve the needs of others.
Educational Courage
Mercy students welcome the challenge of pursuing their full potential in a culture of excellence, critical thinking and curiosity. Their multifaceted journey builds character while it builds essential skills. Our holistic program expects engagement, a thirst for knowledge and personal responsibility, while preparing students to thrive for a lifetime.
Inspired By Faith
Mercy students become living models of faith and forceful advocates for Gospel values. Grounded in our Catholic identity in the Mercy tradition, we welcome all faiths and are strengthened and shaped by these relationships. As we pursue a personal relationship with God, we strenuously follow Jesus Christ’s example of social justice, love and service.
Principled Leadership
Mercy students are poised to lead with their unique gifts. Prepared with an ethical and moral compass, we put Mercy values into action and work assertively for what is right. We’re equipped to make difficult choices, learn from our mistakes and develop high emotional intelligence. As an international community, we’re confident in our ability to make a positive difference and push for systemic change.
A Voice For Dignity and Respect
Mercy students honor the intrinsic value of the individual and recognize God’s presence in each person. We embrace a global vision and value differences of opinion, and are unafraid to confront hostile or hurtful attitudes. By standing up for those who can’t, we go beyond acceptance to help make sure everyone feels recognized and heard.

A LETTER FROM

The Head of School

Welcome to our school community!

It is a privilege to serve as principal of Mount St. Mary Catholic High School, co-sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and by the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, where two rich charisms are united as one strong, Catholic community.

Since 1903, Mount St. Mary has been committed to forming students who are compassionate, conscientious, and committed to the respect and dignity of every person. We intentionally cultivate discipleship rooted in the Gospels by inviting students to know Christ, grow in faith, and live as His followers in the world.

This unity of mercy and discipleship shapes everything we do. Our classrooms foster academic excellence and critical thinking. Our spiritual life of worship, prayer, sacraments, retreats, and service calls students to a deeper relationship with Jesus. We believe education is the formation of the whole person, preparing young men and women to lead lives of purpose and service. It is here that students discover their gifts, deepen their faith, and grow into the people God has created them to be.

Mount St. Mary is truly one community with a deep heritage and rich tradition where students are known and supported, families are valued partners, and each person is called to bring their unique gifts to the life of the school. We believe in walking together supporting one another and celebrating both individual and collective accomplishments. This spirit of unity is what makes our school not just a place of learning, but a place of belonging.

Thank you for your interest in our school. We are honored to partner with families to share in the mission that defines us as a Catholic community. I invite you to explore all that Mount St. Mary can offer your student and your family. Go Rockets!
