Today, Mount St. Mary juniors and seniors participated in the annual ACT Prep course offered by the MSM Counseling Office in partnership with the Oklahoma City Community College Early College Awareness Program.
The ACT Prep class is offered to juniors and semesters once a semester. In this class, students learn testing strategies, work on practice tests, and get their questions answered by an experienced specialist.
"Through early awareness, it is a goal of the Mount St. Mary Counseling Office to make students aware of the different tests they will take in order to be prepared for the college admission process. We are so fortunate to have outside volunteers spend time with our students, to equip them with the tools and skills they need to be successful for the different standardized tests, such as the ACT. We encourage our students to begin taking college entrance exams during their junior year, if not sooner, so that they can stay ahead in the college application process," said Mrs. Tecmire, MSM Counselor.
