Rocket Softball competed extremely well in the Queens of the South Tournament at Southeast High School over the weekend, going 4-2 and finishing 3rd in the tournament!
On Saturday, the girls won three straight games to get to the semifinals, the first time an MSM Softball team has won three games in a row since 2014. The offense was led by Katherine Gallagher, who had nine hits across the six games including two triples, Kay O'Hern who hit two inside the park home runs, and Hailey Talbot who had eights hits across the six games including three inside the park home runs. Nora Lee did a tremendous job behind the plate, catching every inning of the tournament for the Rockets.
Way to go, Rocket Softball! Rocket Pride!
