Mount St. Mary is proud to announce the next Rocket Head Football Coach, Willis Alexander!

Coach Alexander spent eleven years at helm of the Douglass High School football program. Douglass was 1-9 in Alexander's first season in 2006, but by 2009, the Trojans reached the Class 4A state finals, losing to Star Spencer. The following year, Douglass won the 4A title. Alexander was 91-41 in his 11 seasons at Douglass.

"I am excited about the opportunity to be a part of the Rocket community. I am looking forward to embracing the traditions that are here at MSM. I am grateful for the warm welcome I have received from the administration and school community. I am looking forward to embracing the traditions that are here at MSM and can't wait to build upon what Coach Perkins started," said Willis Alexander.

"This is an exciting time for Mount St. Mary Football! Coach Alexander brings to our program his knowledge, his leadership, and his passion, and through his commitment to ROCKET Football, our young men will be inspired by his humbleness and his love for them. I greatly appreciate and admire his willingness to want to guide and mentor not only our football team but also our entire student body in The Mount Way," said MSM Principal, Talita DeNegri.

"We couldn't be more excited to bring Coach Alexander on board. His proven record of success speaks for itself and we believe that he has a lot to offer our young men," said Chris Crosbie, MSM Athletic Director.
