MSM Video Students Win National Honor

On Wednesday, May 17, the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas announced the winners of the #MakeMercyReal Video Contest at Mount St. Mary Catholic High School in Oklahoma City!

This international video contest called on high school and college age students at Mercy schools and ministries across North America, South America, Central America, Guam, Jamaica and the Philippines to create compelling video shorts on how society can better address one or more of the Sisters of Mercy's Critical Concerns: Earth, immigration, nonviolence, racism and women.

The Winner of the competition was MSM junior, Kenzie Uhr, for her video named, "Changing the Narrative".

The Runner-Up was MSM senior, Isabel Staudt, for her video, "Be the Change".

The Honorable Mention Winner was MSM Junior, James Dudek.
