Retired Navy Captain and current Mount St. Mary Catholic High School Teacher, Athletic Director, Science Department Chair, and Head Baseball Coach, was honored this morning with the presentation of the 2nd Tinker and the Primes Patriot Award.

Last year's recipient, Lieutenant General, Retired, Bruce A. Litchfield was the inaugural recipient of the Patriot Award.

Rose State College President, Jeanie Webb and Lieutenant General, Retired Bruce A. Litchfield had the honor of presenting the award to Captain, John Keilty, US Navy Retired.

President Webb said, "I've never seen a more passionate or motivated individual and I've seen first-hand the lives that he has changed in students. Here is what one student had to say, "This is the more extraordinary teacher I've ever had. He's passionate, he's caring, he's humble, and he lets us compete our dreams." He truly believes in making a difference not only in our nation but in future generations. He's a hero, a friend, an educator but most importantly, he's a servant leader."

Congratulations, Coach Keilty! The Rocket family is blessed to have your leadership and passion in our community.

Rocket Pride!
