Catholic High School Placement Test

Mount St. Mary Catholic High School uses NWEA's MAP Screening assessment to determine proper placement for our incoming students. MAP provides our school with specific information about a student's academic strengths and areas that he or she can grow in. The placement test, along with teacher recommendations, classroom performance, and data from previous standardized tests, allows us to build a challenging curriculum specific to your student’s needs and interests.

All incoming freshmen are required to take the placement test the fall before the desired year of admission.
