Meet Our Interim Principal

Diane Floyd, Ed. D., Interim Principal

A native of Oklahoma City, Diane Floyd, Ed.D. served as the Superintendent of Schools for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City from 2016 until May 2021. Prior to that, she had the opportunity to serve as an Associate Superintendent and a Catholic school principal for 14 years. Diane was fortunate to begin her career in education as a junior high special education teacher in Moore Public Schools.

Diane holds a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from University of Central Oklahoma (1996), a Master of Education in Educational Administration from University of Central Oklahoma (2003) and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University (2018).

Diane joined The Mount as the Director of Admissions in the fall of 2021. In addition to her professional connections to The Mount, Diane is proud to also be a Mount family! Diane and her husband, have a daughter who is a Class of 2018 graduate and a son who is a member of the current freshmen class.

“I am passionate about Catholic school leadership and hope to bring that to my work at Mount St. Mary in this role. As this new semester begins, I look forward to getting to know more of our MSM families! I hope to see you at an upcoming Rocket event," said Diane Floyd, Ed. D., Interim Principal.
