Dear ROCKETS,

I reach out to to you, our Rocket family, about one of our beloved ROCKET teachers, Mr. John Keilty....

Our friend, coach and teacher, Coach Keilty will no longer be with us next year as he heads home (Baltimore) to take care of his father who for the past few years has had serious health issues and is amazingly 95 years young!

We deeply thank Coach Keilty for his love and dedication to our entire ROCKET community. Because of his passionate attitude and God-given talents, many young lives (and old ones, too!) have been touched and changed FOREVER!

WE LOVE YOU, COACH! Always know that your "home" is at Mount St. Mary Catholic High School!

You are forever in our hearts...

Below, is a letter from Coach that he wanted all of you, his Rocket family, to read.

Please keep Coach Keilty, his family, and his precious dad in your prayers!

In gratitude to a great friend, teacher, coach, husband, father, and son,

Talita DeNegri, Principal

Mount St. Mary Catholic High School

From Coach Keilty...

Rocket Nation,

Effective immediately ,I am resigning from my position as a teacher and coach at the Best High School in the State of Oklahoma, Mount St. Mary Catholic High School .I am going back East to care for my Dad.

When I left the Navy after a wonderful 30 year career where I met Kim and we raised Katie , Kelly and Jack together, I was skeptical if I could ever find a job as rewarding and fulfilling as serving as a Naval Aviator in the United States Navy. Well on 1 August 2001 just days after I retired from the Navy ,Kim and I and Jack came to an amazing place and found out the answer to that question. I would soon embark on a 16 year journey having the privilege to serve as a teacher and coach , a profession that I am so proud to be a part of.

Thank you all for allowing me to share a classroom and or a field with your son and/or daughter. It truly has been the time of my life, an absolutely amazing experience, serving with all of you teachers and coaches and staff. You all brought me closer to God and it doesn't get any better than that.

I will check in from time to time to keep track of your many future successes.

"If anyone should ask me in my lifetime what I did to make the world a better place I can respond with a great deal of pride and satisfaction by saying I served at Mount St. Mary Catholic High School!"

Godspeed and Dream Big Dreams!!

Love you all!!!

Very Respectfully

John and Kim Keilty
