Help us congratulate Ethan O'Connor and Teresa Sorrels for both being selected as the two overall semi-finalists for the prestigious InvestEd project for the Central region! This is a project where students invest in the stock market and then write a report about their experience. Great Job!

Rocket Robotics had a successful first competition of the season!

MSM teams, 3638 Atomic Shock and 4266 Makin' Stuff Move teamed up make the finals at the Gordon Cooper Qualifying tournament! The Rockettes won the Connect Award. Team 3638 qualified for the Oklahoma State tournament in February.

Next up for all three teams: the Arkansas Regional Championship in December!

A BIG Rocket congratulations to MSM student Alex Bohn for winning the Chess State Grade Level Championship this past weekend! Alex finished with a perfect score of 5 wins and 0 loses.

Mark your calendars for the 2017 MSM Winter Holiday Concert! This is the concert that everyone has left raving about in the past years.. don't miss out on this beautiful evening! The performing ensembles will include: Concert Band, Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, String Ensemble, Mixed Choir, Treble Choir, and newly-minted TBB (Men's) Choir. MSM is pleased to announce that TWO of our Rocket students, J. Michael Bond and Kate McConnell, passed a rigorous state exam on U.S. government and politics and have qualified as two of the eleven finalists statewide for the prestigious United States Senate Youth Program!

The final competition consists of a written essay and personal interview with a committee at the Oklahoma State Department of Education. J. Michael and Kate have a chance of each being selected as one of the two delegates to represent Oklahoma for an all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC. If chosen, J. Michael and Kate will also receive a $5,000 scholarship from the William Randolph Hearst Foundation.

  • Congratulations to the MSM Art students who recently had work accepted into the OCU Visual Art juried STATE Competition! It is a huge honor for our school to be represented in this exhibit! Olivia Simmons was awarded one of the few, TOP awards for her art works submitted. Please Help congratulate Olivia on her $3000 Scholarship award that is renewable for four years, for a total of $12,000!

MSM Robotics will host the FIRST Lego League Qualifying Tournament for the third year in a row this Satruday, November 4, 2017.

The MSM boys team had five runners finish in the top 11!

The girls team had an amazing sixth place finish!

Cross Country State is at Gordon Copper Vo Tech in Shawnee.

Rocket Pride! TAKE STATE!

Join our awesome MSM Boosters for a tailgate before the Rocket football game this Thursday, October 19!

The tailgate will be held at the MSM (on the plaza area by the MSM football field). The Boosters will have FREE burgers, dogs, chips, and drinks between 5:15 - 6:30 before we travel to Capitol Hill for the game!

Our Rockets kick-off at Capitol Hill at 7:00 pm!


Congratulations to Rocket Volleyball on finishing the OSSAA State Volleyball Tournament as the 2017 Class 5A State Runner-Up!

Rocket Volleyball had an incredible season this year, finishing regular season with a 29-9 record. Several of those wins include top ranked schools, even top ranked Class 6A schools!

In the last five years the MSM Volleyball Program has finished with two State Championships and two State Runner-Up titles!

In the state finals match, the Rockets fought hard for 5 sets eventually falling to Victory Christian School in the 5th by two points.

The scores were:

Set 1: 23-25 L

Set 2: 25-11 W

Set 3: 25-18 W

Set 4: 21-25 L

Set 5: 16-18 W

Congratulations to Mr. Roberts on being named the recipient of the prestigious Archbishop Paul S. Coakley Educator of the Year Award, presented by the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City!

Mr. Roberts has taught English at MSM for 13 years and is now in his first year as Dean of Curriculum. Having helped develop the Mercy Student of the Month Award and the Rocket Experience Course, Mr. Roberts is an incredible mentor for our students and is loved by so many past and present Rockets!

We will have a table set up by the ticket gate to take your gifts. You will also get your name in the drawing for prizes!

Please bring your item of $50 value or more and get your name in the hat for TICKETS TO MAGIC AT THE MOUNT, MSM ACTIVITY PASSES and a couple of other cool prizes!!!! A second $50+ gift will get your name in the hat a second time. Drawing date TBA.
