Growing Our Mount Family
Tools you can use to help us find new Rockets!
The lifeblood of The Mount community is our students. They are the reason The Mount exists.
Bringing new students into the school each year is essential to the health and vitality of The Mount. A healthy enrollment allows us to provide a varied curriculum and strengthens our athletic, artistic, and service programs.
Each year, school officials work to enroll 100 new students, primarily 9th graders.
While advertising and marketing efforts are good at building a positive perception of The Mount and encourages families to at least consider us, word-of-mouth is the most effective tool in actually convincing a family to choose The Mount.
This word-of-mouth effort requires help from those who know the school best - our students, parents, alumni, and friends.
The Mount offers several opportunities for students and families to get to know more about The Mount. You can help spread the word about these opportunities to students and families that you know.
Day at The Mount for 6th Graders
Curriculum Fair - Every year MSM hosts a Curriculum Fair as an opportunity for students and their parents considering The Mount to learn more about our school. Through a guided tour and several mini-sessions, information is presented on an a wide-range of topics such as our Advanced Placement curriculum, athletics, technology, fine arts, religion, and our PLUSS Program.
Shadow Visits - Perhaps the best marketing tool The Mount has is its Shadow Visit Program. We are proud to say most students who come for a shadow visit enroll at The Mount!
If you know of any prospective students, please encourage them to get in contact with us by calling Diane Wilson at (405) 631-8865 ext 205 or via email at dwilson@mountstmary.org.
