Daily/Block Schedule

The Mount's school day starts at 8:00 am and classes end at 3:05 pm. New for the 2012-2013 school year, On Monday's, school will be in session from 8:30 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.

The Mount features an A/B Schedule--much like what is found in a university setting.  Each student is enrolled in eight academic courses per semester.  They attend four 85-minute classes each day, alternating "A day" classes (periods 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A) with "B day" classes (periods 1B, 2B, 3B, and 4B).  The school calendar alternates A and B days continuously throughout the semester, so that in some five-day weeks "A day" classes will meet three times, and in other weeks they will meet twice.

The Mount cafeteria serves two lunch periods per day.  Students will be assigned to a lunch period based on their 3A and 3B classes.

10:00 - 11:25    2A or 2B

11:25 - 12:10    Lunch

12:10 - 1:35      3A or 3B
