Tuition Assistance

Mount St. Mary Catholic High School has established an endowed tuition assistance fund that is used to give students from low-income families in the community a chance to succeed in a caring, supportive, but challenging educational eviroment.

Each year, families of admitted students that have a financial need are able to apply for assistance from the fund. Factors such as family income, number of children in the household, and living expenses will be used to determine what level of financial assistance is needed. To create a sense of onwership, however, all families will be asked to pay some amount of the tuition.

Assistance is rendered through a Work Grant Program whereby students work for their assistance by doing assigned jobs around campus that include such things as clerical tasks, light housekeeping, and helping care for the school grounds. This model enables the young men and women who participate in the program to invest in their own education which fosters within them a lasting appreciation of its value.

Currently 25% of our student body receives tuition assistance. If you would like to make a gift towards helping a student at Mount St. Mary please contact, Director of Advancement, Chris Stiles at 405-631-8865 or cstiles@mountstmary.org.
