Rebecca “Nikki” Craig, a senior at Mount St. Mary High School, has been chosen for “SuperStars: Entertainment Leaders of Tomorrow” by the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Arts Management at Oklahoma City University. This career development program is designed to be a gateway for high school juniors and seniors into the exciting entertainment industry and college experience. Nikki, an avid drama student, will be working in conjunction with professional faculty members and OCU’s official student organization, Students of Arts Management (SAM). The mission of SAM is to create opportunities to further the education of those dedicated to the pursuit of careers in the management of arts and entertainment while encouraging scholarship, professionalism, and intellectual development.
Nikki, as a part of this elite student team, will be invited to have hands-on experience in planning, organizing, and executing exclusive SuperStars events. She will also gain first hand knowledge of what happens behind the scenes of production, as well as have the opportunity to assist in the development of red carpet inspired Tribute to the Stars Banquet at the end of the year.
Nikki, the daughter of David and Staci Craig, plans to study acting and English Literature. Her ultimate goal is to attend Cambridge, and being a member of SuperStars will help advance this dream.
