Welcome From the Director of Advancement

As Director of Advancement of Mount St. Mary, I am humbled and honored to be a part of the rich heritage and strong mission of this great school. As I walk through the hallways, I am inspired by the culture of love, family, and ideals that our young people display each and every day.

Each day as I go out to build relationships and partnerships that advance the mission of The Mount, I am overwhelmed by the family, alumni, and friends of Mount St. Mary who are willing to give back to this school. For example, nothing inspires me more than a single mom who is working two jobs to pay tuition for her child, but finds a way to make a gift to the school. It is that type of giving spirit that makes this school such a special place. Winston Churchill once said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” There is an incredible joy when we have a willing heart to give to something that is greater than ourselves. That willingness to give is a true gift from God.

Your generosity is making a difference in advancing the mission of Mount St. Mary Catholic High School. When you walk on campus, you can visually picture the difference that your gifts are making, and what is so exciting is that we are just getting started. Every gift, no matter how large or small, is making a significant difference in the life of this great school. It has been a tremendous blessing to be on the receiving end of these gifts, but more importantly, our hope and prayer are that you have been richly blessed with the joy of giving.
