Our shadowing program is the best way for 8th grade or high school students considering Mount St. Mary to learn about what it is like to be a student at The Mount.

Through the Shadow Visit program, a prospective student is placed with a grade-appropriate Mount student with similar interests who acts as a host for the day. The prospective student stays with his/her host all day attending the same classes, eating lunch at the same time, and meeting the host student’s friends, teachers, and coaches. This individualized program gives a prospective student firsthand experience of what life for a student is like at The Mount both in the classroom and in the hallways.
